One of the most common questions we get asked in the Applied Compassion Training at CCARE | Stanford University is how to practice compassion for the difficult people in our lives. These could be people in our personal or professional lives, or people on the world stage that test our limits when it comes to compassion. One of the common misconceptions about compassion is that it will make us tolerant of harmful behavior or injustice - NOT TRUE!
