Cultivating Spiritual Resilience

A 3-Month Journey to Navigate Uncertain Times

April-June 2025

“Spirituality can help us strengthen ourselves during tough times, and evidence indicates spirituality is a critical component of resilience and overcoming struggle.”
Brené Brown

Many people are struggling to make sense of the world and questioning their ability to affect real change. Humanity is facing significant and intersecting crises that seem beyond our control.

In times like these, it's natural to feel helpless, angry, scared, and overwhelmed, all of which can lead us to shut down to protect ourselves from pain. Unfortunately, when we close off, we also lose access to the very inner resources that help us cope and navigate through life's difficulties. However, there is a powerful medicine that can help us heal and course-correct—Spiritual Resilience.

A Medicine for This Moment

Spiritual Resilience is the ability to find meaning, purpose, belonging, and connection to something larger than ourselves in the face of adversity. Spiritual Resilience helps us to reconnect with the clarity, strength,  compassion, wisdom, and skillful collaborative action that come from our open heart. This allows us to adapt and bounce back from life's  hardships and tragedies, and to transform our suffering into a powerful opportunity of growth and meaning for ourselves, each other, and the world.

This experiential program blends spiritual practices, evidence-based methods, community wisdom, and actionable tools designed to empower participants to act from their deepest heart's wisdom.

Join us together in a global community as we work towards creating a kinder, more compassionate world in service of all beings!

In this module, we'll explore what Spiritual Resilience means for us personally and discover ways to deepen our access to this dimension of ourselves.

As a community, we'll learn how to build greater spiritual resilience in times of crisis. We'll engage together as we identify resilience in the context of our personal and collective challenges.

Finally, we'll practice embodied ways to strengthen spiritual resilience in order to meet the specific challenges we're facing personally and collectively

Session 2: Responding with Spiritual Resilience to Life's Challenges

"Freedom is the space between stimulus and response." - Viktor Frankl

At times, we don't have control over the outer circumstances of life. This module focuses on what we can control: how we choose to respond to life, rather than react

We'll explore how to create a safe space to navigate challenging emotions with greater resilience. Through mindfulness, reflection, and experiential practices, participants will cultivate a resilient heart that can help navigate adversity.

We will engage in practices designed to evoke creative collaborative action from a place of holding hope for self, others, and the world.

Session 6: Skillful Action | Making an Impact in a Complex World

In this module, we'll align our spiritual values and purpose with wise action in our lives and in the world. We'll explore how taking action toward meaningful goals enhances both personal and collective resilience.

We'll cultivate discernment of action, recognizing how acting out of reaction, even in the service of a good cause, can have unintended negative effects.
